Light is an unmistakable reality on planet earth and the entire universe. Illumination is such an important part of our life that many people will become uncomfortable, scarred and miserable if we were to do without it for even 48 hours. Electric light does not compare with the radiance of natural illumination. As apparent as light is, physics holds that light itself is invisible to our physical eyes and that what we perceive as light are actually high or low density light waves which translate to night and day of our daily life. See the secret of light by Walter Russsel – 4th paragraph, page 164 – “the light which we think we see is but motion. We do not see light. We feel the wave vibration set up by the motion which simulates Light, but the motion of electric waves which simulates light is not that which it simulates”. (3rd Edition 1994) Light is a common phenomenon in the insect known as the fire fly. That creature has a positive and negative connect within its body and is able to turn on and turn off light from within the functionality of its body mechanism. We understand that the light regulation in the fire fly is anchored in its heart beat. For us, that is marvelous and clearly points to the reality of the existence of light mechanisms within creatures of different classifications or species. The electric fish possess a very high voltage generation capacity. This writer has experienced electric shock from a small electric fish and the shock from electric installation in the house. The two feel exactly the same, except for the voltage intensity difference. Science confirms that a fully grown, large specie electric fish is capable of generating very high voltage. This voltage can be demonstrated to the point of producing light, radiance or illumination. This points to the fact that within the body of the electric fish, nature carefully enclosed positive, negative and neutral poles/charges. This is the reason light can be produced from the body of the electric fish. Experiments have gone on in the human body in search of light. Light is somewhat related to electromagnetic waves or impulses. These experiments point to the fact that the human body is charged with light energy. Infact humans can be referred to as luminous beings. Luminous beings are radiant beings. The challenge is that, the calibration of our natural eyes is limited and cannot see the illumination or light radiance from the body or energy field/aura radiating from all human beings we ever meet or encounter. The energy field/aura exuded by each person varies in concentration, reach and quality, depending on the type of thoughts we predominantly engage in and the feelings, we express from within our inner space of consciousness (the sanctuary or secret place of the most high) within us all. So humans are actually luminous spirit beings, with soul, living in a material/physical body having molecular calibrations fitting for earth life/sojourn. The singular reality of light within us all has been spoken about in the Christian scriptures by Jesus Christ himself. Jesus Christ knowing his Divine consciousness attainment, referred to himself as the light of the world. That light encapsulates knowledge flowing from seeking, knocking and praying over time and love expression which results from experiential engagement with humanity and creation. Jesus Christ proceeded to admonish this “let the light in you so shine among men that they will see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven” (Mathew 5:16). This for us simply points to the fact that there is light within humanity and in all people of all nations, religions, cultures, socio/political and economic philosophies. Light itself is a singular reality that is abundant in creation. If light has been shown to be abundant in such creatures like the firefly and the electric fish, why would it not be abundant in humans described in the Christian scriptures as having been created in the image and likeness of the Divine. What we owe humanity and the entirety of creation is to shine forth the light within us by our positive thoughts, feelings and acts of service and giving in love to make the world/ earth a better place for all. Our true source of inner harmony and enhancement is from what we give which is nothing other than light radiance. The Divine surrounds us and glows from within us as light. Indeed in Him/It we have our being (Acts 17:28, Philippians 2:13). That is the reason Jesus admonished that we let the light in us so shine among humans so that they will see our good works of love and glorify our father which is in heaven (Mathew 5:16). The kingdom of Heaven is a developed state of consciousness which is attainable within you (Luke 17:21). Our father in heaven which has begotten us all is the father of lights and the source of all creations (James 1:17). That is the source of the light in us and that light enters our physical body as soul at birth and will leave the body on transition and recede back to its source.
