Graven images are physically sculptured/carved objects. This carved objects could be carved into different forms ranging from animals, humans, trees, fishes, stars, moon, sun and other real or imaginary objects etc. These are physically created into forms known to the human mind as objects of worship or veneration. These form creation process is usually physically or materially carried out or simply executed by or within the mind. These forms of gods creation was common in paganism and other religions which held sway in the human developmental trajectory hundreds of years in the past. The worshipers of these objects have real or perceived experiences of great works of provision, protection or salvation meted out or extended to them by these symbols or venerated gods without knowing or realizing that such works of provision, protectory or salvation were actually loving acts of security/salvation etc from the Divine creator flowing from within them as a result of their exertion of their inner energies or faith through their own thoughts, feelings and actions resulting in the effects they interpret as acts of their own hand or mind made objects of veneration. Those objects merely activate or awaken their faith/energies from within the supplicators. Happily, presently, the human mind is progressively developing in the human developmental trajectory to the point of appropriate, requisite introspective interrogation of the mind by the soul or self. This will enhance the effort of humans in the practice of separating the mind from the self and observing the mind as it carries out the act of endless experimental suggestions and overtures; enabling the self to calm down, relax in stillness and knowing, before choosing what option of the mind suggestions to take, where necessary. This is the point of inner presence in the sanctuary and awakening on the pathway of love light consciousness for humans which has been the main theme of averters, prophets and saviours of the past who once lived on earth. Indeed, you are the image and likeness of the Divine love and light energy and the creator of all things in the material physical world and should venerate no formed object but the Divine which lives in the kingdom of heaven within you.
